As November wraps up, PlayStation Plus is rolling out yet another batch of exciting games for subscribers to dive into. December 2024 brings along a fantastic selection, including a title that snagged Game of the Year at The Game Awards in 2021. Plus, for those feeling nostalgic, some beloved PS2 classics are being added to the Classics Catalog, exclusively for Premium members.
For those with a PS Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium membership, the December lineup doesn’t disappoint. Gamers can look forward to playing It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem. You can start redeeming these on December 3, 2024, with the offer standing until January 6, 2025.
Both It Takes Two and Aliens: Dark Descent are available on PS4 and PS5, catering to a broader player base. However, keep in mind that Temtem is exclusive to PS5 users.
As we welcome these fresh titles, it also means saying goodbye to the November game offerings. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Death Note Killer Within will exit the service after December 2, 2024. So, if you haven’t added them to your library, now’s the time to act.
PS Plus Premium members are in for some holiday treats this season. You can get a taste of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 with an exclusive game trial starting December 3. While the exact duration of this trial isn’t specified, typically, these last between one and three hours.
On the classics front, PS2 enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice. Fan favorites Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves are making their way to the subscription service, completing the trilogy. Also, from the brilliant minds at Naughty Dog, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is also being added. Start your adventures with Sly or Jak come December 10, 2024.
