This remake seems to be facing some challenges.
This week, let’s dive deeper into our 1-900-103-4RFN offerings with an in-depth look at Death Wish 4, kicking off at the 26-second mark. It’s intended to be a part of our opening notes, but you know how RFN rolls—always full of surprises.
We spend an amusingly long time on an introduction segment meant to familiarize new listeners with our voices and names or to notify everyone if Jon’s absent (which, let’s be real, is often the case). After that detour, we transition into NEW BUSINESS! Greg starts us off with a brief update on Mario & Luigi: Brothership and then steers the discussion toward the new NSO feature: Donkey Kong Land at the 13:38 timestamp. As always, James returns to his… unique antics with the freshly-launched KUUKYOMI 4: Consider It at around 31 minutes in. These games might sound redundant at this point, but they still bring ridiculous enjoyment. Guillaume wraps up his thoughts on Trials of Mana at the 39:54 mark, noting that it’s genuinely an impressive game and currently part of the Nintendo Black Friday sale. His enthusiasm wanes, however, when he talks about the Amazon series Like a Dragon: Yakuza at the 45:43 timestamp. Meanwhile, Jon went ahead and purchased Skyrim once more at 1 hour and 5 minutes. This time, he’s exploring it on PS5 and genuinely getting into it. He and James also delve into strategies for purchasing vouchers for the eShop and Xbox Live—they’re gearing up for game time.
After a short break, the team reconvenes to compile a list of eight Nintendo DS games, with each of us suggesting two, as we debate which one will be our pick for the Nintendo DS 20th Anniversary Retroactive at 1 hour 15 minutes and 27 seconds. Curious about our choice? Tune in to find out.
