The Canadian game development studio, Worlds Untold, has revealed that it is temporarily halting its operations.
In a recent LinkedIn update, the studio shared that it is currently on the lookout for a new partnership. Founded in November 2023 and led by Mac Walters, a veteran of BioWare, Worlds Untold originally had the backing of Chinese gaming giant, NetEase. We’ve reached out to NetEase for details about the current status of their collaboration.
“This wasn’t a decision we took lightly,” the team expressed in their LinkedIn post, “It’s been a profoundly personal journey, and we take immense pride in what we have accomplished together.”
