Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have a special opportunity to claim some free goodies through the Mystery Gift feature, and they only have until November 30 to do so. Bringing back a beloved element from previous titles, these Mystery Gifts allow players to enter limited-time codes to snag items, exclusive Pokemon, and more.
At any moment, you’ll find a variety of Mystery Gift codes active for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Yet, not every code sticks around forever. With some of these offers on the brink of expiration, dedicated fans are urged to act swiftly. Right now, three specific codes are on the clock and will vanish after Saturday, November 30.
ComicBook recently highlighted these expiring codes, reminding fans to redeem them before they’re gone. If you’re hoping to add a free Gimmighoul to your collection, punch in SEEY0U1NPALDEA. For a charming Quaxly, use the code D0T1STPARTNER. And, if you want to style your character with a Terastal Cap, WEARTERASTALCAP is your go-to option. All of these are currently up for grabs, but unless things unexpectedly change at the last minute, they will fade into the ether by the end of November. To snag these gifts, head over to the Poke Portal and navigate to the Mystery Gift section to enter these codes.
For those who want the D0T1STPARTNER code, it gifts you a Quaxly inspired by the one from the Horizons anime series. Meanwhile, the SEEY0U1NPALDEA code provides a “chipper” Gimmighoul in its unique Chest Form, a nod to its initial distribution meant to promote the Pokemon: Paldean Winds anime. The Terastal Cap, a wearable cosmetic, is a fun shout-out to the terastallization gimmick in the game’s battles.
Given how much fans love the Mystery Gift feature, it’s safe to bet it will continue popping up in future Pokemon titles. Even the recent Pokemon Legends: Arceus included Mystery Gift codes, which means the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A will likely have them too. And while we can’t predict with certainty, it seems highly probable that Generation 10 Pokemon games will follow suit. For now, though, Scarlet and Violet are the primary games available, making them the current home for any new Mystery Gift codes you might come across.
The journey in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet invites players to partake in “A Treasure Hunt,” a project introduced by the school in the game. As they explore the Paldea region, players can weave three distinct adventures: striving for Champion Rank on Victory Road, joining Arven to hunt for rare ingredients on the Path of Legends, or taking on Team Star misfits in ★ Starfall Street ★. The open-world experience allows gameplay at your own pace, filled with adventures, Pokemon, and encounters throughout Paldea.
Released on November 18, 2022, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet offer local multiplayer options and run on a proprietary engine, rated E for Everyone due to mild fantasy violence. Despite a “Fair” rating on OpenCritic and no cross-save or cross-platform play options, players on the go can enjoy the game on their Steam Deck, as it remains compatible.
