Exciting news for fans of bridge-building games: a well-loved engineering puzzle sandbox is landing on Quest this week! Get ready to tackle an array of bridge construction challenges in both virtual and mixed reality on the Quest platform.
Originally slated for release last week, Bridge Constructor Studio was set to bring its immersive bridge-building simulator to VR on Quest, while also offering the ability to design, test, and tweak your structures in mixed reality on Quest 3. Although the release was delayed, it promises to be worth the wait.
Come December 12th, fans can dive into 70 engaging puzzles in Bridge Constructor Studio’s campaign. Your task? Deliver different kinds of vehicles across tricky terrains using an assortment of materials including wood, steel, cables, concrete pillars, and roadways.
Setting itself apart from earlier desktop versions of Bridge Constructor, or even its main rival Poly Bridge, the XR edition doesn’t automatically impose budget or material constraints. However, for those who love an extra challenge, these can be activated to earn special awards, according to the developers.
But there’s more to do beyond the campaign. Bridge Constructor Studio offers a Scenario Creation Mode, where you can craft and play your own unique bridge-building challenges. Save up to 40 personalized levels on your profile and let your imagination run wild.
The creative minds at ClockStone STUDIO are behind this game, well-known for developing both the flatscreen and XR versions of popular titles like LEGO Bricktales (2023) and the original Bridge Constructor series, which first saw the light in 2011.
Priced at an affordable $10, Bridge Constructor Studio is launching exclusively for Quest 2 and 3 on December 12th. Ready to start your engineering adventure? You can find it on the Horizon Store. Happy building!
