The much-loved immersive survival shooter is set to make its way to Quest 3 and 3S headsets by the second quarter of 2025, with a price tag of $39.99.
Into the Radius 2 is an enthralling survival shooter that challenges players to equip themselves with lifelike weapons, join forces with friends, and dive into the strange and dangerous area known as the Pechorsk Security Zone.
The brainchild of Estonian developers CM Games, Into the Radius 2 initially launched on Steam Early Access in mid-2024. It quickly distinguished itself as one of only two VR-exclusive titles on Steam to exceed the 1,000 review mark, sharing the honor with Metro Awakening. With its “mostly positive” rating, the game has managed to generate an impressive $3 million in revenue since it first hit the digital shelves.
In our review of Into the Radius 2 Early Access from August 2024, we noted that it provided a solid base, skillfully blending horror elements with a sense of realism. However, we did point out that the limited content made it difficult to fully recommend at the time, even to diehard fans of the original, unless players were willing to invest in hopes that CM Games might outdo their previous work.
Since that review, the game has seen two substantial updates alongside a series of smaller patches, significantly enhancing both its content and overall polish.
While it’s set to debut on Meta Quest platforms in Q2 2025, Into the Radius 2 Early Access is already available for those eager to experience it on Steam.
