Welcome to Kousei Academy, the pioneering school that has integrated the cross-reality virtual network called "Johari." This innovative platform serves multiple purposes—be it for accessing basic info, shopping, or even as a social networking and messaging app. However, its introduction has significantly amplified students’ desire for peer approval and attention. Before long, a chilling urban legend emerges: those whose desires become too strong might vanish into bizarre "Glitches," only to be replaced by otherworldly monsters. These eerie glitches supposedly let monsters take the form of the original users in the real world, leaving everyone blissfully unaware.

Our protagonist soon learns that this isn’t just a ghost story—some students are actually being replaced. With no time to waste, they join forces with the Student Support Services (SSS), a guild aimed at tackling the academy’s mysteries head-on. Players will need to forge friendships, strengthen their bonds, and stand firm to defend their school from looming disaster. But it’s not just monsters you have to worry about—maneuvering through complex relationships can lead to unexpected, and sometimes unwelcome, twists.
