Almost a year after hitting the scene, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is diving deep into the chaos stirred up by Loki in its latest and final Cosmic Event. Since its launch last December, Sanzaru Games has consistently rolled out Cosmic Events for this VR action RPG, each presenting unique challenges known as Cosmic Objectives. Players have battled everything from a vampire pandemic to Surtur’s fiery armies while journeying through multiple realities. And now, the climax of Asgard’s Wrath 2 pits players against Loki in ‘The Trickster’s Legacy.’
In this last hurrah, you’ll be tasked with mending the warped realities. Your objectives? Navigating through mysterious ‘?’ marked doors in the Uncharted Rifts, surviving some devious trap rooms, completing a quintet of divine trials within a single Uncharted Rift run, and tidying up the Loki Anomalies that’s scattered across the overworld. Achieve these goals, and you’ll be rewarded with the coveted Staff of the Trickster, a replica of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s unmistakable horned helmet, along with emotes, badges, and distinctive titles.
Though this Cosmic Event is the last new entry, it’s definitely not curtains for Cosmic Events just yet. Sanzaru Games has promised to loop back through them all, starting anew with Into the Multiverse, thus giving players another shot at snagging these elusive rewards.
In other news, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is dropping a brand new outfit that breaks away from the limited-time tradition seen in The Trickster’s Legacy rewards. This exclusive piece, available only to Meta Quest+ subscribers, features a fresh dinosaur-themed armor from the island of Laramidia and comes complete with a matching stone blade weapon.
If you’ve got a Meta Quest, you’re in luck—Asgard’s Wrath 2 is ready and waiting for you there.
