It’s also memorable for being the last major gaming project that the iconic composer Nobuo Uematsu worked on. Although at 65, Uematsu isn’t retiring, he’s expressed a desire to shift his focus away from the demanding timelines of video game music.

Set in a world afflicted by Mechteria—a mechanical infection that strips humanity of its emotions and life—the protagonist Leo is thrust into an adventure beginning with a single memory.
