Thunderful has just dropped the second developer diary for their upcoming Nintendo Switch game, Lost In Random: The Eternal Die.
In this edition, we hear from narrative director Oskar Hanska, who takes us beyond the curtain to explore the game’s story, focusing on character choices and the art of voice acting.
Developed by Stormteller Games, formerly known as Thunderful Gothenburg, this next installment in the quirky and twisted Lost in Random universe promises to be a rogue-lite action adventure.
In the story, Mare the Knight has trapped Aleksandra, once revered as The Queen, along with her trusty companion Fortune inside the ominous Black Die. Players will have to make their way through a series of randomly generated challenges filled with monstrous foes and massive board game arenas.
Outsmarting Aleksandra’s captor will reward players with treasures to boost their odds of success, but ultimately, it’s the combination of clever thinking and the support of a reliable die companion that will guide players through this sinister maze where chaos reigns supreme.
Here’s what the publisher has shared about the game’s standout features:
Mastery Meets Chance: Dive into action-packed, moment-to-moment battles that merge real-time combat, strategic planning, and a sprinkle of luck.
Forge Your Playstyle: Equip four distinct weapons, utilize your die-ally, and mix over 100 relics with formidable card-based skills to create lethal combinations.
