Great news for RPG enthusiasts: NIS America and Nippon Ichi Software have released a demo for Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, now available on the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch.
In this demo, players can dive into the first two chapters of the story. Plus, any progress you make can be seamlessly transferred to the full game when it launches.
From the minds behind the Disgaea series, this game offers a unique twist on tactical role-playing. You’ll follow Marona, a young girl with a mysterious ability to communicate with Phantoms, alongside her steadfast Phantom ally, Ash. Together, they navigate the expansive ocean world of Ivoire, helping those in distress.
When ghost pirates threaten their peaceful existence, Marona and a new ally, Apricot, must band together to rally a legendary crew. This legendary crew once defeated these ghostly adversaries and can do so again.
Players will engage in strategic gameplay by recruiting Phantoms, using their abilities to bind them to objects, mingle them with Gadgets, or even merge them with Marona to unleash powerful moves and take down the fearsome Shipwreck Fleet.
According to the publishers, some key features you can experience include:
-
Play It Your Way: With over 50 unit types, create and customize a team to suit your battle style. Let your imagination guide your strategy!
-
Phantom Possession: Engage in tactical turn-based RPG combat using the innovative Confine system. This allows you to merge Phantoms with items to turn the tide of battle.
- Light-hearted Adventure: While Marona is on a mission to rescue her friend Ash, expect a journey filled with fun, laughter, and new friendships.
Mark your calendars because Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero is set to release both physically and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on January 30, 2025.
