This news adds even more buzz around Hazelight Studios’ award-winning co-op game, Split Fiction, which is slated for a March 6, 2025 release. Gamers with a PS5 Pro are in for a visual treat with this upcoming split-screen adventure.
### Split Fiction’s PS5 Pro Features Are Still Under Wraps
At this stage, Hazelight hasn’t confirmed if Split Fiction will boast PS5 Pro support from day one or if gamers will need to wait for a post-launch update. Details about the specific enhancements are also being kept under wraps for now.

Unveiled at The Game Awards 2024, Split Fiction casts players as writers Mio and Zoe, who find themselves stuck inside their own tales. The game immerses players in both sci-fi and fantasy realms, with thrilling challenges like evacuating as a sun nears supernova, out-dancing a monkey, mastering hoverboard skills, battling a sinister feline, and so much more, according to the official description.
In line with Hazelight’s tradition, Split Fiction will include a Friend’s Pass, enabling owners to invite a friend to join in the adventure at no extra cost.
