Hey, gamers! Exciting news for those eagerly waiting to dive into the Elden Ring Nightreign experience—the network test is now open for registration. Basically, you can sign up to potentially snag a spot and be among the lucky testers. Just a heads up though: you don’t need to rush in right this moment. Apparently, the Bandai Namco site experienced a bit of a hiccup as eager fans flooded in to register.
In case Nightreign slipped under your radar, let me give you a quick rundown. It’s a co-op focused adventure where players band together to tackle formidable bosses from the beloved FromSofft universe. So, you’re getting more than just leaving those cheeky messages or occasionally dropping into a friend’s world to lend a helping hand or cause some chaos. Think of it as an enhanced Elden Ring experience you can share with your buddies.
The announcement for this test actually dates back to December, with registration kicking off today, January 10, and remaining open until January 20. If you’re keen on signing up for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test, click over here and put your name on the list.
Unfortunately for PC and last-gen console users, the test is exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Even so, it hasn’t stopped a tidal wave of demand right out of the gate. Some eager participants shared their frustration on social media, posting screenshots of the site struggling to keep up—or completely crashing, if we’re painting the full picture.
For the lucky few who manage to secure a spot, the test is scheduled to unfold across five sessions, each lasting three hours. These will run from February 14 through February 17. Quick tip: February 14 is Valentine’s Day, so if you’re planning some quality time with Nightreign, you’ll be in good company. As Orson Welles once said, “We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion that we’re not alone.” So maybe this game can be your virtual companion.
And if you don’t manage to get in, don’t sweat it too much. One dedicated fan decided to embark on a quest to defeat FromSoft bosses every day leading up to Nightreign’s release. That’s certainly one way to keep the hype alive!
