Alien: Rogue Incursion has finally landed on PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets, and fans don’t have to wait too long for more—Survios is already hard at work on the sequel, “Part Two,” even as they prepare for a Quest release early next year.
In our deep dive into Part One, we gave it a respectable [7/10]. The game truly shines through its gripping ambiance and compelling storyline. However, the thrill is a bit overshadowed by the repetitive enemy attacks and the somewhat unforgiving save system. It stands strong on its own, lasting around eight hours with intense encounters and a captivating narrative that whets the appetite for more.
Though specific details are still under wraps, Survios hints at breaking away from the monotony of battling identical Xenomorphs. “Part Two will advance Zula’s journey, pushing her against more formidable foes and ramping up the challenges,” they reveal as the development continues behind the scenes.
Before we dive into the next chapter, the first installment is set to make its exclusive debut on Quest 3/3S on February 13, 2025. The delay in delivering Part One to Quest wasn’t entirely unexpected, given the complexity of adapting those rich textures and dynamic levels to the mobile chipset of Quest 3. It seems to have been a necessary step to maintain the game’s quality.
With the foundational technology in place for Part One, we’re optimistic about a quick follow-up on Zula Hendricks’ epic endeavor to eradicate the Xenomorph menace from this rogue science station once and for all.
